To “survive” through the pandemic season, 5-star hotels in Vietnam must use many different “tricks” to attract customers.
In the complicated situation of the epidemic, the number of guests at 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam decreased sharply. Although low fees and discounts of 50-60% have been applied, the number of customers has remained at only 10% compared to the pre-pandemic period. To help businesses “survive” through this epidemic season, hotels have had to offer many high-class “niche” services, taking revenue from guests not in the same area.
Open water park in Resort
At Alma Resort, many families come to Splash Water Park to have fun and relax. This water park has a width of 6,000 square meters, overlooking Bai Dai on Cam Ranh peninsula, with a system of chutes, slides, winding lazy river, wave pool… and water games. The children’s swimming pool here has a mini slide, a bucket of water… Inside this water park, it also serves American-style food, a food truck with many snacks, to help guests fill their stomachs when hungry.
Splash Water Park usually opens from noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, applying a free program for guests staying at the resort. Non-resident guests can also have fun at the park for 160,000 VND/adult and 100,000 VND/child.
This resort also sells resort day packages “Day Pass” including food vouchers and privileges to use resort facilities such as kids club, 12 swimming pools…
Thanks to opening more “niche” services, Alma Resort attracts a large number of customers, maintaining businesses that can “live” through the epidemic season.
